Jacobite Tour from Virginia

Nothing better than a previous customer coming back to you, which I guess shows you are doing something right.

Well Debbie Wells returned last month to the land of her heritage,as her Grandfather x10 had been caught up in the Jacobite Uprising of 1715. Her forbear, called Profitt, came from the wee village of Eassie very near to Glamis in Angus, and after being drafted into the army that took the port of Leith, they then went down to the Borders to Kelso to try and raise Jacobite support there – then into England, but the uprising soon petered out, and after in-fighting with the English Jacobites who wanted to surrender, it all ended in tears in Preston, and he along with others was captured and sent to the British penitentiary in Virginia, but later was able to continue his life living in this new land.

Debbie still lives there, but with her sandy hair and fair complexion, she could only come from Scotland, the old country that she has so much feeling and emotion for.

She came with her lovely old school friend Sherry also from Virginia.
